Skin Care Regimen & Make-Up Steps

This is what I learn in the Mary Kay skin care classes and Make-up classes.

Well, I did learn alot more things than I knew. At least, now I have put in Sun protection in my skin care regimen. It is super improtant to prevent dark spots.

Let Your Sleep do the Repair Work on your skin

I have personally used this; this is very good. After applying at night (before TW anti-ageing moisturizer), I woke up the next day to a very smooth and soft skin. Especially after I wash with our Time Wise Anti-aging cleanser, the skin feels really soft to touch. It is a little expensive at $88 but I believe a women should take care of her face and if she has no time all the time, she should get herself this Night restore and recover complex from Mary Kay and let the night sleep do the repair and restore work.

Drop me an email to buy a mini bottle at $8.8 to try it out. The result is quite obvious after 2-3 days of application. You must match with TW cleanser.

How to have a career with Mary Kay beauty products?
In this Mary Kay family, you set your own goals according to your own time.
Here, we always believe in God first, Family second and Career third. How is this possible?
It is a mind-boggling concept in today's modern hectic working environment, and it is worst in Singapore.

As for me, I wanted to fix my eye - it was bad - lines, wrinkles, dark circles, sagging eye bags, puffiness. It was still at the on-set; so I quickly looked around. I was using some skincare product but it looked like my skin has grown out of it. Lo... my friend Liana invited me to a Mary Kay's Eye Spa class. I went. Loved the company. Liked the founder. Tried and like their products... So I signed up as member. Not knowing what career path is. No pushing no harassing from the skin care trainer.

As time goes by, my friends started to ask me about the membership in Mary Kay and so I put the simple two pager below.
You may ask me if I am going to be a Sale Director? I say it is in the plan but you will laugh at my snail speed. To me, to set a goal is important but stress has to be managed. Mary Kay company does NOT need me to strive 2000 points per month. A 150 points ( about SGD200) per 3 months is a reasonable amount I would spend on my skincare and make-up. So, why not?

Think about it and let me know if you are interested. Even if not interested in the career plan, please be interested in taking care of your skin.... don't wait till too late. Mary Kay's Eye Colour for Eye Shadow

 Make up is not my forte. But I am going for make-up classes organized by the Mary Kay's trainer.
20 Nov 2012 and 29 Nov 2012 make-up classes are fully booked.

I have started to acquire the eye colours. Each mineral eye colour is $13. You have to get the compact palette so that the magnetic suface of the palette will attract the metal base of the individual colour.  

A mini compact will cost about $20.

I am learning how to do the eye shadow based on different eyes - sunken, single eye-lid...etc.

 

A NEW product called EYE Primer (@$23) works to hold the colour longer. - waterproof formula creates a foundation demonstrated to extend eye colour.

Mary Kay's Men's Product

Men also have skin. So they also need skin care. The only thing is they don't want to spend too much time cleaning up their skin or 'make  up'. So, with this in mind, Mary Kay's offers the one and only range of Men's products.

If you are Men, buy this.
If you are ladies, buy this for the men in your life - brother, father, uncle, boyfriend, husband, sons... ( and you wonder why women spend so much? Because they think much about others)

Skin Care Regimen step as follows (basic):
1. Facial Clenaser $33
2. Facial Toner $33
3. Moisturizer Sunscreen  $48 ( you have some sun protection - to prevent dark spot when older)
TOTAL : $114.

For men with super oily skin, I recommend :
1. Oil Mattifier, 17ml @$25.  (use every 8 hours. on oil-prone areas). Apply once after the moisturizer and later in the afternoon whenever needed.

I am using oil mattifier myself - once in the morning (after skin care before make-up) and later in the afternoon around 4-5pm (on made-up face)

EYE SPA (Dark circles, puffiness & fine lines/wrinkles)

After learning Eye SPA in classes, now I put into pratice.

My first few guinea pigs are my sisters, and brother in law. The photos show the results and I let them speak

for themselves.

BEFORE (I did only on one eye. Guess which one?)

AFTER (the results are fabulous. )

Three products are being used :

0. Eye Massage - to massage about 5-6 point around the eye before applying products.

1. Eye Revitalizer $70 - reduce dark circles. Bottle with a metal roller ball that rolls the serum based lotion onto the dark circle areas.

2. Soothing Eye Gel @$45 - reduces puffiness. Dab around eye areas above and below the eye.

3. Firming Eye Cream $70 - firms the eye muscle. Must apply to eye area above and below, including the brow area where the eye muscles are.

In Mary Kay, we don't believe in one product solve it all. Different people has diffirent skin types and conditions. That is why we would like to meet our customer, assess the skin type and conditions and then recommend the matching products to address customer's concern.

Come to our SKIN CARE classes to get your answers to the following questions you may have.
