Eye Make Up Techniques

All our eyes are different. That makes us beautiful. The diagrams below help you to get the perfect look for your eyes using highlighter, midtone and accent shades.

1. Highlighter shade draws attention and 'lifts' an area.
The highlighter shade is commonly applied on the brow bone, lid and along the inner third of the lower lashline.
2. The midtone shade is commonly applied over the eyelid and then blended well with the highlighter.
3. An accent shade is used to add depth and help an area recede.
The accent shade is typically applied starting at the outer corner of the eye and sweeping up into the crease and blended well.
4. A contour shade adds extra definition and depth to create an alluring effect.
It is typically applied in the eye crease and blended well.
